GRX Holdings, LLC is seeking a dependable Pharmacy Technician to assist in our Medicap Pharmacy in Knoxville, IA. This part-time role supports the pharmacist under supervision, handling prescriptions, labeling, and customer service.

Training is available if needed, with a friendly, family-oriented team environment. The position offers no nights, Sundays, or holidays, with benefits including Medical/Dental/Vision plans and 401k with company match.

Qualifications

• Registered with the Iowa Board of Pharmacy or able to register before starting.
• Training provided; prior certification preferred but not required.
• Possesses strong communication and customer service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Follow policies on register operations, security, and confidentiality.
• Greet customers and answer questions.
• Receive prescriptions and check their validity.
• Process prescriptions electronically and ensure information is complete.
• Resolve issues such as rejected insurance claims.
• Select medicines and measure dosages to fill prescriptions.
• Sort, stock, label medication and monitor inventory.
• Undertake administrative tasks as assigned.
• Comply with security measures and quality standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
