Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our store team in Virginia. You will support the pharmacy staff, help ensure safe and accurate dispensing, and assist patients with a warm, caring approach.

You will complete required state licensure and training, and may administer vaccines where permitted by state law, under supervision. This role emphasizes safety, quality, and a collaborative, inclusive culture.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, including age and licensure/certification.
• If the state board does not address a minimum age, must be at least 16 years old.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Regularly attend as scheduled, including weekends.
• Follow SOPs and pharmacy workflow to ensure safe prescription fulfillment.
• Deliver empathetic, patient-centered service at pick-up, drive-thru, and phone.
• Assist with inventory, returns-to-stocks, and counts as directed by leadership.
