Family Health Center in Kalamazoo, MI is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our pharmacy team. You will fill prescriptions, manage inventory, and assist patients under the supervision of a pharmacist, ensuring accuracy and compassionate service.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, and a valid pharmacy technician license/certificate, with at least one year of medical setting experience. No Sundays; part-time hours available with comprehensive benefits.

Formación

• Must have a high school diploma or GED and one plus year(s) of experience in a medical setting with patient care.
• Must have an active pharmacy technician license/certificate.
• Ability to write routine reports and communicate effectively.

Responsabilidades

• Receive prescriptions (written or verbal) and verify patient information, insurance, and allergies.
• Enter prescription data into the system and maintain patient profiles and inventory.
• Prepare prescriptions and ensure pharmacist verification prior to dispensing.
• Provide prescriptions to patients and offer guidance; route clinical questions to the pharmacist.
• Process payments for prescriptions and OTC items.
• Maintain inventory using FIFO and conduct stock audits.
