Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Help pharmacists prepare prescriptions by counting or pouring medications, labeling containers, and pricing prescriptions.
• Ensure customers receive all their prescriptions.
• File written prescription forms after dispensing.
• Prepare and complete manual insurance claim forms.
• Maintain organized filing system for invoices, claims, and daily reports.
• Help customers find over-the-counter items.
• Maintain understanding of pharmacy scheduling system and data entry of MPP information.
• Maintain attendance and vacation logs and adhere to the Pharmacy Standard Practice Manual.
• Order, stock, and return pharmacy inventory with proper supplier procedures.
• Assist in processing pharmacy outdates and credits and manage inventory accuracy.
• Prepare pharmaceutical products for inventory and keep the department clean and stocked.
• Observe company policies and the Pharmacy Standard Practice Manual.
