Job summary

CALRegional is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Technician Lead Instructor to join our Paramount, CA program. The role involves instructing students in the pharmacy technician field and preparing them for a 120-hour externship after 182 hours of class time.

Weekday mornings and evenings are available, with remote Mondays and Wednesdays. California license required; teaching or supervisory experience is a plus. Competitive hourly pay and a supportive team await.

Qualifications

Licensed Pharmacy Technician in California.
3 years of experience in the Pharmacy field.
Teaching and/or supervisory experience desirable.
Energetic and able to deliver instruction passionately.
Efficient with computers and technology.
Organized and detail-oriented.
Understand pharmacy-related medical math concepts and teach them to class.

Responsibilities

Instruct students in all aspects of the Pharmacy Technician Field.
Reporting and recording student performance and progress.
Preparing students in 182 hours of class time, to go on to a 120-hour externship in a retail or hospital Pharmacy.
Assisting students to develop an understanding of values, attitudes, and ideas appropriate to the health care profession.
Providing a professional role model for students.
