Job summary

Qualifications

• Successful completion of criminal background check and drug testing as required.
• Maintain current national certification and state license as required.
• Maintain advanced certifications (i.e., immunizer certification) and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Help pharmacists with prescription data entry, counting/pouring medications, and labeling.
• Ensure prescriptions are provided in a timely manner.
• Maintain pharmacy records per Standard Practice and law.
• Maintain confidentiality of customer and company information.
• Assist customers in locating over-the-counter items.
• Adhere to attendance and PTO policies and assist with scheduling.
• Understand and follow state and federal regulations.
• Assist with inventory, ordering, stocking, and returns of products.
• Support physical inventory procedures and variance reporting.
• Review ACIS reports and assist in third-party audits as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of the department.
• Order and manage pharmacy supplies.
• Follow all company policies and standards; maintain professional appearance.
• Ensure safety standards and report needed repairs.
• Treat coworkers with respect and foster a positive environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
