Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year pharmacy intern to join the pharmacy team in Georgia. You will help deliver patient care, support the pharmacy workflow, and uphold safety and regulatory standards while learning in a collaborative environment.

You will work closely with pharmacists, engage in patient education, and participate in programs that promote access and affordable care. This part-time internship offers hands-on experience in a large health care system.

Qualifications

• Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
• 0-3 years relevant work experience
• Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs

Responsibilities

• Lead with Heart – show empathy for patients and caregivers
• Collaborate with pharmacy team to deliver patient care programs
• Ensure regulatory compliance and quality assurance
• Maintain inventory and support workflow management excluding final prescription verification
