Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a part-time 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning in a real-world setting. Under a preceptor, you will follow a comprehensive training roadmap, support pharmacy operations, fill prescriptions promptly and accurately, and deliver empathetic, patient-centered service across pick-up, drive-thru, and phone channels.

You will gain exposure to store, district, and regional operations while learning Standard Operating Procedures and best practices.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess or be pursuing valid intern/technician licensure as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Attend regularly, including nights and weekends.
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Counsel and educate patients when appropriate under supervision of a pharmacist.
• Maintain SOPs and consider patient privacy and safety in all interactions.
• Support immunization and other pharmacist services as allowable by state regulations.
• Communicate clearly with patients and colleagues and document important information.
