Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Six months to one year of similar or related experience preferred.
• Vaccination certification required if administering vaccines, as applicable by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service by greeting customers and assisting with needs.
• Answer the telephone promptly and assist with refills and inquiries.
• Gather patient information required to prepare prescriptions.
• Stock received product and supplies and log invoices; handle cash transactions.
• Coordinate nursing home medicines and assist in delivery orders as needed.
• Administer vaccines as allowed by law, with required certification where applicable.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the pharmacy and confidentiality of patient information.
• Work with teammates to ensure customer satisfaction and a positive work environment.
