Fayetteville State University seeks a Temporary Pharmacist to provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care within the Student Health Clinic. You will dispense medications, counsel students, and ensure compliance with federal/state laws while collaborating with providers and staff.

The role supports immunization programs, maintains accurate records, and contributes to policy development for patient safety and quality improvement.

Qualificações

• Doctor of Pharmacy or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited program.
• Current and unrestricted state pharmacist license.
• CPR certification (BLS) and immunization delivery certification.

Responsabilidades

• Dispense and verify prescribed medications per standards.
• Counsel patients on use, interactions, and storage.
• Ensure compliance with DEA and state laws.
• Maintain secure pharmaceutical records in HIPAA/FERPA.
• Manage inventory, including ordering and disposal of meds.
• Oversee medication storage labeling and security.
• Support immunization programs as allowed by licensure.
• Provide drug information to providers and staff.
• Contribute to policy development for medication safety and infection control.
• Participate in quality improvement and accreditation readiness.
• Coordinate continuity of care with off-campus pharmacies.
