Priority Dispatch Corp. in Lehighton, PA is seeking a Part Time Pharmacist to uphold the HealthDirect Standard of Practice and deliver high‑quality care to our customers.

You will dispense prescriptions, perform QA checks, ensure regulatory compliance, manage inventory, and maintain confidential patient records.

This role requires a valid Pharmacy license, the ability to stand during shifts, and successful completion of a pre‑employment drug screen.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacy license and current registration to practice.
• Ability to stand/walk throughout the majority of shift.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment and/or random drug screening test.

Responsibilities

• Follows the HealthDirect Standard of Practice to dispense prescriptions.
• Performs all quality assurance steps to insure a technically accurate prescription is dispensed.
• Follows all State and Federal regulations governing the practice of Pharmacy.
• Oversees the initial submission, resubmission, and collection of all third-party claims.
• Manages and balances the pharmacy inventory to ensure maximum turns while still remaining in-stock for customer needs.
• Ensures prescription files and other manual records are maintained in accordance with all state and federal guidelines.
• Ensure outstanding customer service is exhibited by all employees at all times.
• Insure all loss Prevention policies are followed by all employees and report deviations from said policies to Loss Prevention.
• Oversees the maintenance of the pharmacy department to insure a clean and professional environment.
• Maintains and develops professional relationships with doctors and others in the health service professions.
• Maintains an awareness of developments in the Pharmacy and Health Care Services fields that relate to job responsibilities and integrates them into own practice.
• Maintains confidentiality regarding all patient information.
• Facilitates communication between professional staff and pharmacy personnel.
• Assists in meeting or exceeding budgetary sales guidelines and operating the pharmacy within said guidelines.
• Interface with various auditors and outside agencies, as needed.
• Responsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

BS or Pharm D degree in Pharmacy
