Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of one year experience as a Pharmacist in a long-term care setting, currently employed as a consultant pharmacist.
• Ability to teach and assess Pharmacist Medication Aide courses following HHSC guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Instruct Pharmacist Medication Aide courses and ensure safe instruction.
• Follow current course outlines and assess student competencies; maintain classroom safety.
• Prepare syllabus and assessments; use HHSC guidelines; evaluate student progress.
• Engage students and build professional relationships with colleagues and community.
