Job summary

CVS Health in Paramus, NJ is hiring a Staff Pharmacist on a part-time basis to lead the pharmacy team and deliver patient-centered clinical care. The role supports the Pharmacy Manager, ensures safe dispensing, and may cover duties as the primary pharmacist-on-duty when needed, including immunizations and patient counseling.

You will collaborate with the broader healthcare team to improve outcomes, manage inventory, and maintain compliance with state regulations.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Living our purpose by helping to manage and improve patient health through safe and appropriate dispensing, counseling, and immunizing practices.
• Overseeing the pharmacy as proxy during bench shifts and providing feedback to the Pharmacy Manager.
• Assumes Manager’s duties when serving as the primary pharmacist-on-duty.
• Supporting safe and accurate prescription fulfillment and following pharmacy workflow procedures.
• Contributing to positive patient experiences by showing empathy and care, and coaching the team accordingly.
• Proactively offering and delivering immunizations and supporting technicians.
