Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of Optum and UnitedHealth Group, is seeking a Part Time Pharmacist to join its community pharmacy team in Parkersburg, WV. You will work with technicians and care teams to ensure patients receive appropriate medications with excellent service.

Current and unrestricted pharmacist licensure.

Responsibilities

Review requests for prescription prior authorizations.
Oversee the activities of pharmacy technicians, clerks, and customer service advocates.
Perform all duties and functions in compliance with state and Federal pharmacy laws and regulations.
Support department quality assurance and improvement guidelines.
Deliver exceptional customer service and collaborate with care teams to support patient outcomes.
