Qualifications

• Must hold and maintain a valid State License and current registration to practice Pharmacy.
• Ability to stand/walk throughout the majority of shift.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment and/or random drug screening test.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions following the HealthDirect Standard of Practice.
• Perform quality assurance steps to ensure accuracy of prescriptions.
• Adhere to all State and Federal regulations governing Pharmacy practice.
• Oversee third-party claims submission, resubmission, and collection.
• Manage pharmacy inventory to maximize turns while maintaining stock.
• Maintain prescription files and records per guidelines.
• Ensure outstanding customer service by all staff at all times.
• Follow loss prevention policies and report deviations.
• Maintain a clean, professional pharmacy environment.
• Develop professional relationships with doctors and health professionals.
• Stay up-to-date with pharmacy/healthcare developments and applied practice.
• Maintain patient confidentiality in all interactions.

Education

BS or PharmD degree in Pharmacy
