T&T Pet Care Services is seeking a reliable and responsible Part-Time Van Driver to join our team for transporting pets throughout Dane County. This position is ideal for someone who loves animals and enjoys driving. As a pet transport driver, your primary responsibility will be ensuring the safe, comfortable, and timely transportation of pets of all sizes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Safely transport dogs between two doggy daycare locations and to appointments in Madison.
2. Ensure pets are properly secured in the vehicle and comfortable during transit.
3. Maintain a clean and organized vehicle at all times.
4. Follow all traffic laws and ensure the safe driving of the vehicle at all times.
5. Communicate with daycare staff to coordinate pick-up and drop-off schedules.
6. Handle pets of all sizes, providing a calm and comforting environment during transport.
7. Assist with loading and unloading pets from the vehicle as needed.
8. Report any issues or concerns with the vehicle or pets promptly to management.

Qualifications:

1. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
2. Must be reliable and punctual with strong attention to detail.
3. Ability to safely handle and transport pets of various sizes and temperaments.
4. Excellent communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
5. Prior experience working with animals (preferred but not required).
6. Ability to work independently and responsibly.

Physical Requirements:

1. Ability to lift and assist with pets, sometimes up to 75 lbs.
2. Must be able to sit and drive for extended periods of time.

Schedule:

Part-time position predominantly in the late afternoon to early evening. Ideal candidates will be available Monday-Friday.

Compensation:

Competitive hourly pay, based on experience.
