Job summary

Access Healthcare Staffing & Recruitment is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Assistant (PCA) for a part-time role in Summerlin. The position covers Wednesdays and Thursdays from 12p to 5p in home or facility settings.

You will support ADLs, mobility, light housekeeping, and provide companionship while following care plans and maintaining client safety. Must have 1–2 years of PCA experience, CPR/First Aid, PCA certification, and pass background and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2+ years experience as a PCA.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification.
• Current Cultural Competency certification.
• Current physical and TB screen (within the last 12 months).
• PCA Certification.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license (if applicable).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing and toileting.
• Provide mobility assistance, including transfers and ambulation support.
• Monitor and report changes in client condition to supervisors or nursing staff.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks including laundry, meals, and maintaining a clean environment.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Follow individualized care plans and document services accurately.
