Job summary

Care Planning Institute, Inc. is seeking a Personal Care Aide to assist an elderly male veteran in Highland, IL, to help him stay safe and independent at home.

The position includes bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility support, plus meal preparation; it is long-term, part-time (15 hours/week) with schedule Mon Tue Thu 8–12 and Fri 8–11, paying $25/hour total ($21 base + $4 bonus).

Qualifications

• Experience as a caregiver is required.
• We can train on the specifics of the job.
• We will perform a background check.
• Must get a TB skin test if not had one recently.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming and walking to help the client stay independent at home.
• Prepare meals for the client according to preferences.
• Follow care plan and report changes to supervisor.
