Job summary

BMO is seeking a part-time Retail Banking Sales & Service associate for the Gilroy, CA area. You will welcome customers, discuss financial solutions, and guide them through digital and self-serve options to make banking easy and fast.

You will collaborate with branch teammates and partners to identify needs, cross-sell where appropriate, and support operational tasks while upholding risk and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of relevant experience and/or certification desirable.
• Confident with social media, tablets, smartphones, online tools.
• Experience in consultative customer service or sales roles.
• Knowledge of personal banking and business banking solutions.
• Strong interpersonal, listening and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in the branch lobby and guide them to banking channels.
• Identify customer needs and provide financial guidance.
• Collaborate with BMO partners to grow customer relationships beyond personal banking.
• Support branch operations and risk/compliance processes.
• Refer opportunities to specialists to expand customer relationships.
• Maintain accurate records and assist with applications and routine tasks.
