Food Lion is seeking a Perishable Department associate to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain product levels across meat, dairy, and frozen sections. You will receive deliveries, rotate stock, and ensure displays meet company standards.

The role emphasizes safety, accurate pricing, and teamwork with store associates. Candidates should be able to learn multiple tasks, operate basic computer tools, and comply with company policies and dress code.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Ability to use technical information to solve problems.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions.
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations.

Responsabilités

• Provide quality customer service within the Perishable Department to create a positive shopping experience.
• Maintain appropriate product levels in meat, lunchmeat, dairy, frozen and related areas.
• Receive deliveries, code where applicable, rotate and store items appropriately.
• Ensure ordering, receiving, preparation, conditioning and displaying of merchandise follow policies.
• Maintain cleanliness and adherence to safety guidelines in the department.
• Operate and understand tools like ACIS and CAO as applicable.
• Observe and correct unsafe conditions; report incidents to the Manager on Duty.
• Wear the Food Lion uniform with name badge while on duty and maintain a neat appearance.
• Complete CBT and training as required; perform other duties as assigned.
