Stoughton Dentistry in Stoughton, MA is seeking a skilled Periodontist to join our established private practice. This is a flexible part-time opportunity with a patient-centered team.

You will diagnose and treat periodontal diseases, perform procedures including scaling and root planing, osseous surgery, crown lengthening, grafting, extractions, bone grafting and dental implant placement, and collaborate with general dentists to coordinate care.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school.
• Completion of an accredited Periodontics residency program / Certificate in Periodontics.
• Active Massachusetts dental license or eligibility for Massachusetts licensure.
• Board certification or board eligibility with the American Board of Periodontology preferred.
• Strong periodontal surgical and implant-placement skills.
• Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Collaborative, dependable, and team-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat periodontal conditions ranging from gingivitis to advanced periodontal disease.
• Perform periodontal procedures including scaling and root planing, osseous surgery, crown lengthening, and soft-tissue grafting.
• Perform extractions, bone grafting, and dental implant placement.
• Develop comprehensive, individualized periodontal treatment plans.
• Collaborate closely with our general dentists and other providers to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients about periodontal health, treatment options, and long-term maintenance.
• Maintain accurate and complete clinical documentation.
• Provide a comfortable, professional, and patient-centered experience.
