Stoughton Dentistry is seeking a skilled Periodontist to join our established private practice in Stoughton, MA. This part-time role offers flexibility and a patient-centered environment with strong collaboration with general dentists.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
• Completion of an accredited Periodontics residency program or certificate.
• Active Massachusetts dental license or eligibility for licensure.
• Board certification or board eligibility with the American Board of Periodontology preferred.
• Strong periodontal surgical and implant-placement skills.
• Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Collaborative, dependable, and team‑oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat periodontal conditions ranging from gingivitis to advanced periodontal disease.
• Perform periodontal procedures including scaling and root planing, osseous surgery, crown lengthening, and soft-tissue grafting.
• Perform extractions, bone grafting, and dental implant placement.
• Develop comprehensive, individualized periodontal treatment plans.
• Collaborate closely with our general dentists and other providers to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients about periodontal health, treatment options, and long‑term maintenance.
• Maintain accurate and complete clinical documentation.
• Provide a comfortable, professional, and patient-centered experience.
