Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Perimeter Patrol in Norwalk, CT. This part-time enhanced role offers fixed evening shifts with opportunities to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform. Expect 18.00 USD per hour with a base schedule and earnings potential across multiple sites.

Role focuses on safety, access control, and service to tenants and staff at a primary site. A path to fuller hours exists while maintaining flexibility and reliability.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background investigation conducted in accordance with laws.
• Drug screening may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies, including emergency actions.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity, reporting unusual conditions and maintenance issues to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation per site requirements and Allied Universal procedures.
