St. Louis Children's Hospital is seeking a full-time Pediatric Psychologist to join the team.
Our mission is to improve children’s behavioral health and quality of life through evidence-based care. We offer three types of clinical care for children, adolescents, and their families. Our faculty members are also involved in research and training activities to advance the quality of children’s health care.
are directed towards promoting quality of life for children with medical conditions and their families. Assessment and intervention services are provided to families on an inpatient and outpatient basis. Specialty areas include hematology & oncology, solid organ transplant, cardiology, neurology, pain, sleep, gastroenterology, diabetes and endocrinology, pulmonology, gender identity, adolescent medicine, rheumatology, allergy & immunology, and critical care and surgery. Research efforts of the pediatric psychologists have targeted identification of factors related to child and family adjustment to medical illness. Patients are commonly referred for issues such as:
