Casa Smiles in Coral Gables is seeking a part-time Orthodontic Assistant to support our pediatric patients. You will assist the orthodontist during procedures, prep instruments, and help maintain a fun, welcoming environment.

The role emphasizes gentle care for children, clear plan explanations to parents, sterilization protocols, and light administrative tasks to keep the clinic running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Strong computer and data entry skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities, especially with children and parents.
• A warm, friendly, and patient demeanor.
• Previous experience in a pediatric orthodontic or dental setting is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet children and their families warmly, ensuring they feel comfortable and at ease.
• Explain orthodontic care plans to parents and answer any questions.
• Record vital signs and medical history accurately.
• Prepare sterilized instruments and equipment for pediatric exams and procedures.
• Assist the orthodontist during procedures, focusing on a positive experience for children.
• Follow all health and safety regulations and clinic policies.
• Help schedule appointments and perform light administrative tasks.
