Job summary

42 North Dental, based in Boston, seeks a part-time Pediatric Dentist for Wellesley Dental Group. You will provide pediatric dental care, diagnose and plan treatments, and educate patients on oral health while working with a supportive team.

The role offers a per diem of $1,000–$1,200 with earnings tied to collections, a flexible schedule, and opportunities for long-term growth in a patient-centered practice outside downtown Boston.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Maintain and update patients’ medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Maintain high quality standards of care and professional ethics.
• Keep up with developments and continuing education.
