42 North Dental invites a Pediatric Dentist to join our part-time team at the Wellesley Dental Group in Wellesley, MA. The role focuses on delivering exceptional pediatric care within a multi-specialty practice, with flexibility and a pathway for long-term involvement.

Per diem compensation ranges and a supportive environment are offered, including opportunity for both part-time and potential full-time growth within the practice.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA accredited program.
• Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism within the dental office.
• Keep abreast of new developments, technologies, best practices and standard of care through current continuing education courses.

Education

DMD or DDS degree

Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry

Current state license to practice dentistry

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
