Job summary

42 North Dental in Wellesley, MA is seeking a part-time Pediatric Dentist to join our multi-specialty practice. The ideal candidate will promote preventive, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry and provide high-quality pediatric care in a supportive environment.

You will work with a dedicated team on a flexible schedule with growth opportunities within the practice. The office is located 15 miles from downtown Boston and offers a collaborative culture and modern equipment.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Board eligibility or board certification in pediatric dentistry.
• Active state dental license required.
• Hepatitis B vaccination documentation.
• Malpractice insurance coverage.
• BLS/CPR certification current.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient’s oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review, maintain and update patients’ medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients
• Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism in the dental office
• Keep abreast of new developments, technologies, best practices and standard of care through continuing education

Education

DMD or DDS degree from a university-based dental education program accredited by the ADA CODA

Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry

Current state license to practice dentistry

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination

Proof of malpractice insurance

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification
