Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a part-time Pediatric Dentist to join Wellesley Dental Group in Wellesley, MA. The role offers per diem compensation with potential for a flexible schedule and integration of orthodontics and periodontics within the practice.

The successful candidate will provide preventive and restorative dental care, educate patients, and create comprehensive treatment plans while maintaining the highest standards of ethics and professionalism within a growing multi-specialty office.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient’s oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Maintain and update patients’ medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide preventive and restorative dental care.
• Maintain high standards of care and professionalism.
• Keep up with new developments through continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree
