42 North Dental is seeking a part-time Pediatric Dentist for the Wellesley Dental Group in Wellesley, MA, a short drive from Boston. You will deliver comprehensive pediatric dental care within a multi-specialty practice that emphasizes preventive, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry.

Qualifications

• Must have a DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Board eligibility or board certification in pediatric dentistry is required.
• Current state license to practice dentistry in good standing.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain professional ethics and conduct within the dental office.
• Stay current with developments and continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree (ADA CODA-accredited program)

Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry

Current state license to practice dentistry
