Job summary

42North Dental, operating as Wellesley Dental Group, seeks a part-time Pediatric Dentist for our Wellesley, MA office. You will join a full-service, multi-specialty practice focused on preventive, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry with a strong patient base and flexible schedule.

Position offers per diem compensation ($1,000–$1,200) with earning potential through collections, along with integrated orthodontics and periodontics within the practice and opportunities for growth toward full-time.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient’s oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients’ medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret X-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism within the dental office.
• Keep abreast of new developments, technologies, best practices, and standard of care through CE.
