Job summary

42North Dental, in partnership with Wellesley Dental Group, is seeking a part-time Pediatric Dentist to join our team in Wellesley, MA. The role offers per diem compensation with uncapped earning potential through a percentage of collections and opportunities to integrate orthodontics and periodontics within the practice.

The clinic emphasizes preventive, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry with a collaborative team and potential for long-term career growth, whether part-time or full-time.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from a ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Board eligibility or board certification in pediatric dentistry.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Vaccination against Hepatitis B.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient's oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret X-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients
• Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism within the dental office
• Keep abreast of new developments, technologies, best practices and standard of care through continuing education

Education

DMD or DDS degree

Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry

Current state license to practice dentistry

Hepatitis B vaccination

Proof of malpractice insurance

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
