Pediatric Dental Center of Avon in Avon, CT is seeking a dedicated Pediatric Dentist (Part-Time) to join our child‑focused team. You will provide comprehensive dental care for infants through teens, including patients with special healthcare needs, and help families establish healthy oral habits.

Formación

• DMD or DDS from an accredited dental school.
• Completion of an accredited pediatric dentistry residency program.
• Current, valid dental license in the applicable state.
• Strong diagnostic and treatment-planning skills.

Responsabilidades

• Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assess children’s oral health and development.
• Diagnose dental conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide preventive care, including cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants.
• Perform restorative procedures to treat cavities and other dental conditions.
• Monitor dental development and identify potential orthodontic or other oral health concerns.
• Educate children and their families on oral hygiene, nutrition, and preventive dental care.
• Help children feel comfortable during appointments and provide a positive, supportive dental experience.
• Manage dental anxiety and behavior using pediatric techniques.
• Provide care for patients with special healthcare needs within the scope of training and practice.
• Maintain accurate and complete patient records, including treatment plans and progress notes.
• Collaborate with dental assistants and other clinical team members to provide high-quality care.
• Maintain current knowledge of pediatric dental techniques, technology, and best practices.
• Follow all applicable clinical, safety, and compliance standards.
