Caring Companions, LLC is seeking a compassionate PCA/Caregiver/Home Health Aide to provide essential in-home support in Windsor, CT. The role offers a part-time schedule with a set 1pm-4pm window on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and can be combined with other assignments to build a fuller schedule.

Responsibilities include personal care, companionship, medication monitoring, meal prep, and reporting changes to supervisors. The company values growth, training, and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Must have PCA/Home Health Aide certification or equivalent experience.
• Previous caregiving or healthcare experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and assist clients as needed.
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable demeanor.
• Willingness to undergo background checks and training as required.
• Reliable transportation to travel to client locations.
• First Aid and CPR certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.
• Administer medications and monitor health conditions as directed by healthcare professionals.
• Help with meal preparation and ensure nutritional needs are met.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
• Document care provided and report any changes in client status to supervisors.
• Engage clients in social and recreational activities to promote mental well-being.
• Follow care plans and collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care.
