Allied Universal in Pico Rivera, CA is hiring a Security Officer - Enhanced Part Time to provide reliable security services at a busy retail site. You will follow site procedures, perform patrols, assist with access control, and engage with customers and visitors in a professional manner.

The role offers fixed anchor shifts with six-month commitment and options to pick up additional shifts via our scheduling platform to increase earnings, with potential to work up to 40 hours per week when

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted as per laws.
• Drug screen will be conducted where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols in the retail location to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns to site contacts or leadership.
• Respond to incidents calmly and in accordance with site procedures and document actions taken.
• Assist with access control, visitor interactions, and customer service needs in a high-traffic retail environment.
