Job summary

Allied Universal in Gilbert, AZ is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Driver Part Time to protect sites at a manufacturing and industrial location. This role offers a part-time schedule and a $20.00/hour pay rate, with opportunities to build a flexible shift plan through our platform.

You will perform patrols, monitor access, report incidents, and provide excellent customer service while complying with policies.

Qualifications

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and/or emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, offices, loading docks, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate logs and reports of security-related activities.
• Communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.
