Job summary

Allied Universal in Ocala, FL is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer – Patrol Driver/Badge Screening. You will drive and patrol, monitor access, and deliver excellent customer service to clients and visitors in a logistics and distribution setting.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, with preference for badge access experience, X-ray screening, and CPR certification. Hours include weekend shifts, with a pay rate of $15.24 per hour.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• A guard card is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific security procedures and access-control processes.
• Conduct regular patrols of loading areas, parking areas, building exteriors, and perimeters to identify hazards and unauthorized access.
• Monitor entry/exit points, verify access, and document activity per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and situations calmly and notify relevant contacts.
• Prepare reports and logs for patrols, incidents, and access activity.
