Job summary

Saint Luke's East in Lincoln, NE is looking for a part-time Patient Transporter to join our team. You will move patients by wheelchair or car throughout the hospital, ensuring safety and comfort under the guidance of clinical staff.

This set schedule requires availability for evening shifts, with 24 hours per week and holiday rotation. You will work with nursing staff to maintain patient flow and protect patient belongings and equipment.

Qualifications

• Less than 1 year of applicable experience.
• Good communication with nursing clinical staff is required.

Responsibilities

• Move patients by wheelchair or car throughout the hospital.
• Utilize infection prevention techniques and knowledge of routes to move patients safely and efficiently.
• Protect the integrity of patients' tubes, lines and collection devices; move patient valuables and equipment.
