Job summary

St. Mary's Medical Center is seeking a part-time Patient Service Representative in the HIMG Communications Department. You will meet and greet patients, schedule appointments, and direct calls to the appropriate personnel while performing general office tasks.

The position requires a High School diploma; some business and computer training is preferred, and CPT/ICD training or medical terminology knowledge is a plus. Prior hospital or medical department experience is valued.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Business training, computer training, CPT/ICD training, and medical terminology preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet patients for the Clinic as needed.
• Schedule patient appointments.
• Answer telephone and direct calls to appropriate personnel or departments.
• File, fax, copy and send reports as necessary and perform other office related duties as needed or directed.
