Job summary

TouchPoint Support Services is hiring for a part-time patient server at Ascension Saint Agnes in Baltimore, MD. Responsibilities include menu selections, tray assembly and delivery, and addressing patient dietary needs. The role supports patient comfort and follows dietary restrictions and HIPAA guidelines.

Experience in customer service is required; familiarity with hospital systems is helpful. The position offers rotating weekends with 6:00 am and 7:30 pm start times and online applications

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience required.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
• Computer technical skills to operate hospital systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient food service on assigned units, including menu selections, tray assembly, tray delivery and pick-up, special requests and needs, and in-between meal food delivery.
• Exhibits a friendly, caring attitude to patients when taking menu selections and delivering trays.
• Takes patients' menu selections prior to each meal and ensures dietary restrictions are followed.
• Interacts with nursing staff to ensure diet prescriptions are accurate and patient needs are met.
• Maintains accurate and current information for each patient on assigned unit(s).
