Job summary

R1 RCM Inc. is seeking a Patient Registration Customer Service Representative at Ascension St. Vincent Anderson Hospital in Indiana. This PRN role requires a minimum of 48 hours per month and includes on-call duties, with opportunities for additional shifts.

You will help patients navigate the registration process and gather accurate information in a fast-paced setting. No healthcare background? Training is provided and this role serves as a launchpad for a healthcare career.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service experience.
• Ability to pass background check, drug test, and meet vaccination requirements.

Responsibilities

• Work across multiple computer systems to register patients efficiently.
• Answer phones and gather information quickly and accurately.
• Assist patients who may be ill, anxious, or confused.
• Navigate diverse insurance plans and coverage details (with training!).
• Adapt to interruptions from clinical teams during urgent care situations.
• Build rapport and ease patient concerns in real time.

For this US-based position, the base pay range is $14.50 - $18.99 per hour . Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
