Job summary

Sanford Health in Sioux Falls, SD is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) for part-time shifts. You will provide patient-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN/LPN supervision, with an emphasis on compassionate support.

The role includes vital signs, basic treatments, and coordinating care, plus light clerical tasks. CNA preferred; sign-on bonus may be offered for eligible applicants.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Knowledge of healthcare, anatomy, physiology, medical terminology and equipment preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred.
• If working in ND and not CNA, must be on the ND Nurse Aide Registry within four months.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN/LPN supervision.
• Record vital signs and other basic health information.
• Administer basic health care and medical treatments; assist with daily living activities.
• Clean patient living areas and treatment rooms.
• Collect non-invasive specimens and prepare treatment areas.
• Perform scheduling and documentation tasks related to patient care.
