Job summary

Samuel Contract Staffing is seeking a licensed Pathologist to serve as part-time Center Medical Director for our plasma collection facility in North Carolina. The role provides essential clinical oversight, reviews laboratory quality control, and ensures regulatory compliance while fitting into a light practice schedule.

Hours are approximately 2 hours per week with highly flexible scheduling during center hours to accommodate your medical practice or personal commitments.

Qualifications

• Must hold a medical degree in pathology.
• Current, unrestricted medical license in the state of operation (North Carolina).

Responsibilities

• Regulatory Oversight: Serve as the designated Medical/Laboratory Director to satisfy CLIA, FDA, and state regulations.
• Quality Review: Conduct monthly reviews of center laboratory quality control logs, proficiency testing, and center safety protocols.
• Donor & Staff Support: Review complex donor suitability cases, oversee medical staff training certifications, and address any infrequent adverse event reports.
• Audit Preparation: Ensure the center remains audit-ready for internal, federal, and state regulatory inspections.
