Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine Degree.
• Active Medical Licensure.
• Formal pathology training.
• American Board of Pathology – Anatomic Pathology Certification.
• 1+ years evaluating images; developing and running assays.
• Subspecialty training in cancer biology, genomics or clinical trials.
• Strong history of leadership, publications or presentations.
• Ability to communicate with internal and external teams.
• Understanding of HIPAA and patient data privacy.

Responsibilities

• Participate in specimen review for all clinical and biopharma testing.
• Review H&E stained slides for specimen adequacy prior to testing.
• Interact with IT teams to ensure software tools and data integrity.
• Assist in development, training and orientation of laboratory personnel in pathology review.
• Maintain availability to work during evenings and weekends as needed.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
