The Pathologist and Associate Medical Director is involved in all aspects of delivering FMI’s clinical laboratory testing services and serves as an internal subject matter expert, applying medical knowledge to advise decision makers in support of FMI’s mission to transform cancer care. The Pathologist is responsible for review of patient samples, review of results generated from genomic profiling and other methodologies, and approval of reports. As an Associate Medical Director, the Pathologist develops, reviews, and approves policies and procedures to ensure consistent, timely, and accurate clinical testing strategies. The incumbent also serves as an ambassador for comprehensive genomic profiling through education and research efforts within and external to FMI.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Morrisville, NC is $243,500 - $304,500 per year. The salary range is commensurate with Foundation Medicines compensation practice and considers factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, external market conditions, criticality of role, and internal equity. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for Foundation Medicine's benefits.
