Responsibilities

• Provide independent medical judgment regarding donor safety and suitability for plasmapheresis and immunization.
• Supervise physician substitutes and oversee donor interactions to ensure compliance with SOPs and regulations.
• Assess donor eligibility through physical examinations and medical history review.
• Provide on-site or remote consultations when the primary physician is unavailable.
• Deliver mandated training for donor center medical staff and manage donor reactions per SOPs.
• Explain informed consent for procedures and ensure donor understanding per federal regulations.
