Job summary

Appellation Lodi – Wine & Roses Resort and Spa is seeking a passionate Part-Time Pastry Cook to join our talented Pastry Team. You’ll prepare a variety of desserts and baked goods for all dining venues, following standardized recipes to ensure quality and consistency.

As Pastry Cook II, you’ll help create memorable dining experiences by producing desserts that reflect our culinary excellence and creativity.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years professional pastry cooking experience.
• Knowledge of recipes, portions, and kitchen sanitation.
• Basic math skills to interpret recipes and tickets.
• Ability to work unsupervised and handle multiple priorities.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare plate and banquet presentations according to the Banquet Event Order.
• Assist Chefs as needed.
• Follow recipes and presentation guidelines accurately.
• Uphold quality, portion control, production level and presentation.
• Ensure proper labeling and dating to control waste.
• Maintain daily product freshness on assigned stations.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary workstation and proper temperatures.
• Follow all safety practices in knife handling and equipment.
