Job summary

Platte Valley Equipment, a John Deere dealer serving Eastern Nebraska with locations in Clarkson, Fremont, Humphrey, and Wahoo, is seeking a Parts Delivery driver. Your primary responsibility is to transport parts between dealer facilities and to customers while ensuring proper equipment maintenance.

You will build positive relationships with customers and coworkers, maintain accurate delivery records, and comply with DOT, OSHA, and company policies.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Transport parts, supplies, and paperwork between dealer facilities and to customers.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and coworkers.
• Maintain accurate records of pickups and deliveries with signatures and receipts.

Job Responsibilities

• Transport parts, supplies, and paperwork between dealer facilities and may deliver to customers.
• Build and enhance positive relationships with customers and coworkers.
• Maintain accurate records of pickups and deliveries, obtaining necessary signatures and receipts.
• Ensure compliance with all required certifications as per DOT, OSHA, and company policies.
• Perform routine maintenance on assigned trucks and related equipment to ensure optimal condition.
• Account for all time and distance traveled while performing assigned duties.
• Complete any other duties or projects assigned by Management.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift items weighing up to 75 lbs.
• Demonstrated self-starter with the ability to work independently and efficiently.

Compensation

The following represents Platte Valley Equipment compensation estimation based on market data and placement of internal employees. This is a hourly role with a starting wage of $17.00 and going up to $22.00 based on experience.
