Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; at least 1 year of related experience
• Practicing Catholic preferred
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
• Professional oral and written communication skills
• Flexible, adaptive, and cooperative

Responsibilities

• Foster the Christian uniqueness of the learning community
• Maintain required trainings as required by the State of Iowa, Archdiocese, and local site
• Work with students individually or in groups under the direction of professional staff
• Support students with disabilities in general and/or special education settings
• Assist in implementing IEP goals, accommodations, and modifications
• Provide small-group or one‑on‑one instructional support
• Support behavioral, social‑emotional, and self‑regulation needs
• Assist with daily living skills as appropriate
• Collect data on student progress and behavior
• Assist with classroom management and transitions
• Prepare and adapt instructional materials
• Supervise students during non‑instructional times
• Maintain confidentiality of student information (FERPA)
• Follow district safety and supervision procedures
