Paramedic

IMMEDIATELY HIRING! Paramedic PART-TIME Opportunity in Decatur

$23.50 per hour

Shift schedules available: 24/48 and 12-hour shifts

We’re hiring Paramedics passionate about delivering compassionate, high-quality service and advanced patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess each call to determine the best course of action, following progressive Paramedic protocols.
  • Use medical equipment and procedures such as defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen and suction devices, and IV fluids to provide advanced care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their loved ones to provide information and reassurance.
  • Act as team leader when necessary, managing the scene and unit.
  • Drive the ambulance during 911 responses.
  • Collaborate professionally with healthcare and public safety personnel, as well as fellow Paramedics.
  • Participate in community programs to promote AMR's image and build community relations.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • State Paramedic License
  • State Driver’s License
  • BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic certifications
  • Driving record compliant with company policy
  • Pass Physical Agility Test
  • Some healthcare work experience preferred
